I made a barn door and use this as the track. It’s very sturdy and holds the door in place well. The door is about 80 pounds. It runs smoothly and adjust easily to fit different sizes. Good value for your money as well.

Honestly I ordered this not really looking at the details. I thought it would be a small little thing that would be a bit flimsy but do the job. WELL I WAS WRONG this is LEGIT!! its like steal ro cast iron, matches the barn door fixtures i had previously purchased for my door ( I will post pics soon) I love that this goes into the wall or trim and not the floor ( ours are porcelain and its impossible to drill into it, the floor guide we had installed was tiny, went into the floor and causes the door to rub in a weird way that it gets stuck. this slides like butter! i couldnt be more happy!

Item is easy to install. I like that they are adjustable. Very sturdy. Good product for the cost.

We bought and installed these a month or two ago. I loved the ease of install, the aesthetics and durability of this product for securing the floor end of my barn doors. We will use this again! We bought hardware kit and diy made from lumber our doors, but when it got to the step for the floor track, the tiny piece included with our fancy hardware track was flimsy, hard to install and required using a router to make a channel the whole way down the center of the bottom of our door. Way too much hassle SO WE BOUGHT THIS INSTEAD. Not only was it much simpler to use. But we also love how this looks and feels for durability and style. Well worth the separate purchase. Wish these were standard with hardware kits, but we were quite impressed with it. We bought several because we built multiple barn doors and we would buy them again in future if we need to.

Ordered this along with the barn door install kit and that was fortunate as the guide for the kit was not well-suited or heavy duty. This is solid, heavy, and well finished. The roller needed a bit of adjustment to turn freely and we did not use the extra guide post because of unique clearances. Only suggestion would be to include pre-drilled holes on the floor side to ancher it on the floor. Order with confidence.

I was looking for a bracket that is adjustable and sturdy (because my dog could knock the other one off the bracket). This has an adjustable knob on both sides. You can adjust the height of both and also how far or close together you need them to hover the door. This was important for my purchase because I have a light switch behind the barn door and it couldn’t be flush with the wall. It’s very sturdy and does not get in the way. I would buy again.

Must have if you install a barn door. This will avoid you grooving the bottom of your door. Adds a nice detail. Spent more time on this piece than I did the rest of the door to get it adjusted and right. Only attaches to the wall so try to hit a stud or the bottom plate.
