Kingnex Cylinder Bolster Roll Pillow for Sleeping on Back or Side 18x6

I ordered this pillow for under my knees at night (back sleeping), as well as for support under the knee when side sleeping. It is PERFECT for those things. It does squish a bit, but I find that very comfy, and it still offers (for me) the perfect support. The product info states that such is intended--that 8 inches squishes to 5-6 inches, which is recommended and intentional. Those complaining that it isn't firm should read about what they are purchasing, rather than give a low review. I had much rather a soft 5-6 inches of support than a hard piece of dense foam of the same height. The cooling cover is soft and smooth, which is good because it doesn't cling to the sheets--this makes it easy to slide around (unlike a regular pillow) when you want to reposition it at night. I do find that the cover pills, but for me that is not a big deal. It is also easily washable. And it is not sweaty or hot on the skin, even under very warm covers. Love that. It does arrive squashed flat in the packaging, and includes clear directions for fluffing it up in the dryer. Do what it says, and the pillow will poof up just fine. As to customer service: After about 3.5 months, I removed the cover again to wash, and a bunch of the foam fell all over--the closing seam had torn open. I was so sad. I contacted the company, and John at Kingnex was happy to send a replacement--awesome! Truly an easy and great customer care experience, for a great product. Thank you John! If you are a back sleeper, order this pillow, it's soft and comfy knee support so your back will love you. If you are a side sleeper, order this pillow, it's soft under your top knee so your hip will love you. Add a weighted blanket, and it will be the deepest, most comfy sleep of your life. :)

I bought this pillow and it arrived all crushed with the external cover unzipped in two spots. I ran the zipper back and forth a few times which re-seated the zipper teeth. On the package insert info, it said to pin close the zippers (internal and external) before putting the pillow in the dryer. I used safety pins to secure both zippers closed. I put the pillow in the dryer for a full 30 minutes on No Heat. It came out looking much like the picture on Amazon. The factory smell I read about was mild and has since dissipated. I used the pillow a few nights and found it to be too heavy for my liking. It weighed about 4 lbs., so I removed 1 pound of filling. (I am storing that extra amount in a plastic bag) I've been using the pillow between my knees to sleep with ever since and I find it helps my hips a lot and I don't move around at night as much as I did before. I love this pillow and I recommend and endorse it.

Firm and as described

I really like the weight of this pillow. I got it for under my knees while I have my feet up in my recliner, but I've also started using it under my knees for bedtime. I would love it if it were just two or three inches longer, cuz I got thick legs, but I'm able to sleep and relax in comfort. It did have a funny smell for a bit, but it didn't bother me that much. I bought a different case for it through Etsy because I can't deal with the "cooling" cover, it doesn't cool me down, and if you have any imperfections on your nails, it will snag on every one of them which is one of my major ick feelings, like nails on a chalk board or styrofoam. It's a good pillow though, I'm contemplating on getting a second one, so I don't have to lug them from room to room, but that seems too over the top.. but maybe.

This is my second time buying this identical product and the second time around was very disappointing. The pillow I received was very soft, hardly any styrofoam pebbles inside of it. I had to fill the pillow with more Styrofoam in order to get it firm as opposed to the first one which I bought, I did not have to make any adjustments….Amazon I know you need to make a profit but stop raping your customers to do it.

It's not easy to find a pillow that works well for a broad-shouldered side-sleeping person who has had a neck injury. Hoped this was it. It's soft, so your ears don't get sore if you stay in one position for a while, but it crushes under the weight of the head which puts the head at too much of a tilt-down.

Have been using knee pillows for years Found this replacement on Amazon. On removal from packaging, unlike some reviewers experience, the “smell test” revealed very little to no latex foam smell, and I had no problem shaping the pillow into its round shape with just the use of my hands - no need to put in clothes dryer on spin cycle, etc. While a bit heavy in weight, I find it very comfortable in use, providing great support for my knees/legs and less stress on my back and hips. Since the cover is removable, anticipate easy washing. Great product! Happy with purchase!

This pillow insert is dense and hard; I would have liked it to be softer.
