Teaching second grade I have a plain blue carpet. Only the K and 1st grade teachers get the colorful carpets with the squares. Well my class needed some direction while coming to the carpet and staying in their own area. I came across these and decided to try them. I am SO happy I did! The kids love them and so do I! They stayed put the first time they were vacuumed over. I noticed that one or two seemed a little shifted near the edges but nothing major. I just flattened it out again and they are perfect. Review: Great for preschool teachers who can’t afford or do not have the space for a circle time rug! - These have been a life saver! I use them in both of my preschool classrooms and they have been holding up very well for the last 6 months. Before I used Polly spots and a homemade rug and these are way better. The students can’t move or pick at these dots. The Velcro is super tough but they are easily removed. They do not look worn out even with being stepped on and vacuumed every day. HOWEVER, I bought them to use on my classroom rug and they don’t stick at all. The pile I guess is too high. I gave them away and the other teachers use them as hallway spot markers on the wall to wall carpeted hallway. They stay on very well to that. (There’s lots of traffic there with no issues). So…depends on why you need them.
