The series of dynamic female characters from the “Shining” series continues with the star of the massively popular PlayStation 2 game Shining Wind, in an all-new version: Xecty E.V.E. One of Baelgard’s four guardians, Xecty is an artificial life form created by Hiruda from Celestia’s genetic material. The new E.V.E. version recreates the character’s origin as an ancient biological body weapon. Representing the ornate clothing of a bygone era, Xecty’s outfit is an amazing example of Kotobukiya’s excellent sculpting and attention to detail in an alternate version of her military uniform. The long bright red jacket features intricate hems, folds, and stitching, while layers and straps add white and black to the mix. On Xecty’s sleeves are complicated laces, and bright white symbols adorn her jacket at the shoulder and base. The humanoid weapon has a serene facial expression under distinctive ears and forehead horn. Xecty comes armed with a large scythe and stands upon an exclusive base. Be careful when putting scythe together in her hand. *by N***L on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 31, 2018* It's a really nice figure. Nice detail in the face and clothing. Bottom jacket/long skirt is removable. Short skirt is not removable (as far as I know) but is free to move around to some degree. Cool looking scythe and it's pretty long.A con for me was the scythe handle and the opening for her hand. The handle is long and fairly weak so it's challenging to not break it while assembling the head and handle of the scythe in her hand. I ended up snapping the handle by accident but fixed it with plastic cement and it's practically unnoticeable. It might have been the particular figure I got that had this problem but it's nothing that should prevent you from buying it. The scythe is a little hard to put together, as you have to line up both ends through the hand. Also like most of the other figures, you can detach the torso to remove the packaging if you take it out. The horns on her head gives her a "warning beware of danger" look, as if she could kill you by simply headbuting you. The open red jacket gives her the look of a female superhero with a red cape. Her weapon is extremely large, it is about 12 to 14 inches long.
