BUT, UNBELIEVABLY it does not come with instructions in the kit. Fortunately there is a very good video on YouTube. I will add the YouTube link here, but if it doesn't work at YouTube search, "using a whet stone." There are many. The one that is for this very product is by Culinary Obsession and runs 4.01 minutes. The base showed up with a large broken chip out of it, but still enough of the edge to hold the stone in place.
