I wasn't sure if it was truly worth the price, but a billion internet reviews and testimonials assured me it was. And it is. If you want the best noise gate pedal ever made, buy one of these. Works best when used in the effects loop of your amp, but if your amp doesn't have one, still works great. All that hiss, fuzz, noise, whatever... completely gone until you hit a string/note. That being said, if you do buy it, for the love of your favorite deity, buy a 9v power adapter, because this pedal will suck the life out of a 9v (Energizer, Duracell, doesn't matter) extremely quickly. Especially if you forget to unplug the guitar input cable.
