Really good product

The pads were a little thinner than expected, but that worked out well as I wasn't looking for a 1890s look. Adds balance so my waist and hips should look a bit smaller, here's hoping!

Like some other buyers, I wanted slip in shoulder pads to create a more defined shape for me and ones that I could interchange into tops. I’ve tried these pads with three different tops. A thin knit, a lightweight shirt and T-shirt. The pads are hugely noticeable through each garment. The double band of Velcro is very obvious. I took off the top layer of the Velcro off and it sticks better to the thin knot, not at all to the thin shirt or cotton T-shirt. The top layer of Velcro can be peeled off and a bra strap can sit over it then secure in place with the Velcro top. That gives an odd look as the bra strap creates a dent. I also purchased these pads in black so wearing a darker top may work better and the pads are less obvious. These pads are only suitable to be interchanged into a heavier fabric or a jacket. They do give me the shape I wanted but it’s obvious I’m wearing shoulder pads.

Love the way they transform droopy shoulders but not in a 'Dynasty' sort of way (for those of you who remember it...gawd we're old). I did buy stick on velcro though cause the sew on stuff is fiddly and noticeable on garments ... I'm not seamstress.

They give better shape toblouses and jumpers.

Bought for a lightweight jacket which I could just slip pads Into shoulders. Unfortunately, the Velcro didn’t adhere. The pads were far too lightweight even for a blouse. Very flimsy. I had to sew them into the shoulders. I wouldn’t recommend them at all.

Tacky.

The shoulder pads made a dress I brought look fabulous.
