Totes Auto Open/Close Compact Umbrella with Printed Under Canopy

Compact bright umbrella. The mechanism works well. I really like the interior color, white background, flowers. Good mood.

I bought this umbrella to take on vacation. I wanted one that was attractive and opened and closed easily with a push of the button. No more umbrella struggling. It was everything promised.

Totes makes great umbrellas, & this one is great quality. Opens and closes easily, & the material seems heavy. And I really love the design with the plain on the outside and the cloud detail on the inside. That being said, the fabric thing with the velcro on it that you use to wrap around the umbrella when not in use, it's too bad it's not just a tiny bit longer. Because after opening the umbrella, there's just no way to get that thing all the way around the umbrella to where it fastens. For the price, it's not the end of the world, but it's just a bit annoying because you can't get it totally compact in your bag, & other things in your bag work their way into the umbrella when it's folded.

What a fabulous travel umbrella. I love the blue color outside (most of them are black) and its wonderful to have the pretty flowers for me to look at while walking in the rain. Note: the umbrella will only lock in its open position when you press the button and allow it to spring open and lock on its own. If you try to open it yourself, it will not lock.

I’m leaving my first review. When this umbrella is open it doesn’t click to lock into expansion mode. I have yet to use it but it seems like once the weight of rainfall hits the opened umbrella the plastic coverage will get more flimsy and buckle. I don’t know if the lack of tautness is meant to make the umbrella windproof, but as it stands it seems like a manufacturing error. I would not recommend this umbrella. Seems like a piece of junk. I don’t have the patience to return it so I’m keeping it but I will be buying another one of a different brand.

This is the absolute cutest umbrella. This umbrella is all about style. People turn their head and look at it whenever I have it opened. No more plain days when I have this cutey. What Lady doesn't want to look this fashionable and with a quick push of the button? I used it as a sun umbrella also in 90 degree weather. It provides good shade and it did keep me cooler. Look at the picture and you can see how wide it is. I also use this for the rain. The water just slides off of it. The color of the outside of the umbrella is almost luminous. It is not a dull-looking blue color. The color is a cross between cobalt blue and sky blue. Very pretty. Even when it's in my purse, the very edge of the printed pattern can be seen just a little. So the umbrella folds up really good and there is a velco strap fastener. It is attached very well. I don't see that the seam is loosening. The automatic button to pop up and open the umbrella works quickly. I just unfasten the velcro, hold out the umbrella, push the automatic button, and I'm all set. I see why Mary Poppins keeps her umbrella around!

This umbrella was hard to open and even harder to close. I'm 68 years old with arthritis and tendonitis. I don't recommend this for anyone with any hand, elbow, shoulder issues. Also, I have a small hand and the size of the handle is too small for my small hand and very uncomfortable. I will be returning it.

Lovely bright and colourful umbrella. Hopefully it withstand the gold ole britsh weather. Larger than I expected and also heavier too. Look and feels pretty robust. Has a bit of and odd smell when first opened.

To be honest, I expected more from a Totes umbrella. The mechanisms are cheaply made. The umbrella is some sort of odd plastic material. Not what I expected and not very good quality.
