Easy to program, easy to use and very resonable price.

I live in a bi-level home where all the bedrooms have a switch by the door that controls 1 outlet. My bed room has a bookcase covering that outlet. I wanted a way to turn on the lights without using a flashlight to find each individual light and turn it on manually. This seemed like just what I needed. I was concerned about the remote having enough power to be reliable. As a test I went down stairs to the farthest point in the house from the outlet. I didn't even have to point it in the direction of the outlet for it to work. This opened up lots of possibilities including home security. I've already ordered another pack of these, mostly for the 2nd remote for my nightstand. If I were to think I hear someone in my house at night, I can push a button on the remote and turn on a light in another part of the house. That should be enough to scare off most intruders. These are also very easy to re-program. I used Velcro to mount the remote to the existing wall switch. Easily removeable when I need to. The new remote will be mounted in my kitchen the same way. At night, the hallway leading to the bathroom and bedrooms is extremely dark, so I would always have to turn on the hall light just to turn on the lights in the other rooms. My eyesight is bad and getting worse. With these there's no more walking into a dark room and trying to feel for a light switch.

Super Easy to set up and program. Love that I can hook up my Christmas tree and inside Christmas decorations with a click of a button they all turn on and off. The only downside to this is that if there are walls in the way than the remote doesn't catch.

I have an older model of this device, but after a few years one of the 3 stopped working, so I came to Amazon to find a replacement. This model is smaller, much easier to use and comes with an expandable remote (can add up to 5 devices). It is too easy to use, and the remote works flawlessly. It should be noted that the plug is three-pronged and should NOT be used with an extension cord. Will see how long they last, but with all the lighting needs for Christmas at my house, this is exactly what I needed and it stores easily as all plugs and the remote fit inside one very slim box when not needed. Would absolutely buy again at the deal price!!

I want to thank Nylo on his/her expertise on adding antenna to both receiver and transmitter to extend the range. Fortunately, I did not have to open the transmitter and here is why. I have programmed my raspberry pi, used instructions written by Tim Leland to capture transmit codes and used these codes in raspberry pi to transmit and automate the process via cron job. I trimmed the antenna on raspberry pi per Nylo's instructions and i was instantly able to increase the receiver distance, also added the antenna to receiver to further add the range.. You can control your lights automatically using free program "sunwait" program available on internet.

They work very well. They are also easy to use. Makes everything more convenient!

These are great. Come Pre-Programmed but you can reprogram easily if you want. Liked so much I bought another set.
