For example, the book has nice line drawings for both the red oak (Quercus rubra) and pin oak (Quercus palustris) that clearly show the pin oak has limbs and branches that are completely haywire and chaotic in comparison to the red oak. Most of the trees in the book aren't native to America, but many of our trees are no longer native because of pests and diseases.
