Fun to read, age appropriate, good topic, colorful pages, and true to the brand. All pages were intact and easy to read print. The storyline captured my students attention until the end. It's the perfect companion to the game. A great value that will last many years in my collection.

Pete is always a favorite with my 5 year old. He has loved him for years and we almost own them all.

Adorable pictures. I great little mystery book for little ones. Who is stealing the cupcakes? The book also has a positive message--giving others a second chance. I would recommend this starting with 2 year-olds if you are reading to them, and up to lower-level, 3rd graders reading on their own.

The kids love all the books about Pete the cat, it’s fun to watch them laugh

My son loves this book! He use to hear the story on YouTube but I wanted him to read..and as soon as he saw this book..he loved it! The only and only reason I gave -1/5 or 4 stars star was i really wish all publishers/authors would publish the book to non tear pages since books are for kids and kids happen to accidentally tear pages while turning.

Pete the Cat books are so much fun, with their "blast from the past " vocabulary. They are written in a hip rhythm that is very catchy. My grandchildren love, love, love these books. In this book, a lesson is learned about not taking what doesn't belong to you. Great reading for toddlers on up to five or six year olds. I highly recommend this book and others I'm the series.

I used it as a read along for a 4 year old. He really put effort into it.
