That Mackie gives you exactly what you want in a high quality speaker for venues.
This speaker sounds like 5 times its size and it’s amazingly easy to use with all types of systems. I thought I heard loud before with the other similar Top named speaker brands for live music and PA systems and of course DJs using giant speakers for their venues. I have several different brands for DJ gigs but once I heard that powerful clear sound coming out of the Mackie DRM315 powered speakers there’s no comparison with the technology and quality of their speakers. I recently went to a preplaned Tailgate party at my work and I told my manager and friends I would bring the music for our Tailgate party. I brought my portable solar generator with couple thousand watts power and plugged in the Mackie DRM315 with a Bluetooth and everyone had a great time listening to the speakers clean clear sounds and giant Bass thunder. The Mackie was an immediate Hit with everyone and it worked fantastic and the power consumption was very little on my solar generator. I brought my Mackie in the back of my van and it was very easy to sit on the ground. I can’t emphasize enough about how much difference in speaker quality sounds compared to my other speakers that are famous brands as well. I think if a person wants something that will make everyone look at their equipment because it sounds fantastic and very sleek and professional they should just take a few minutes to hear the Mackie DRM series. This series is above the other Mackie series and it’s really for professional gigs not just for simple Tailgate parties. The speakers are kinda overkill for small parties but if you need the powerful sounds you are guaranteed to have the quality loud sounds for a 300-400 person venue. Yeah it’s really loud. Thank you Mackie for your fantastic speakers.

These are the TRUTH
Mackie quality is up there anyway so I was expecting a lot to start. I have owned Mackie equipment since I started many years ago. I have used JBL subs of several types and have been around lots of QSC equipment. I haven’t tested the DRM”s side by side with those others, but I think I have a pretty good idea already. You will probably get more dump out of JBL or QSC if you go with their flagship subs. But you will also pay through the nose for them. I’m not a huge fan of JBL subs personally and I do think Mackie is cleaner sound across the board. For $700 or so less, the DRM 18 is far and away a no brainer. I need to get these into a big venue to really stretch them out, but so far at home, they just about broke my face off. I really tried to turn them up to unity, I couldn’t take it. Also they decided to throw one of my wife’s glass flowers off the shelf in the next room, so I got the ole kaibosh after that. I tried to tell her that we have a ghost that did it, but she’s pretty convinced that Mr. 18 did it. I mean honestly who really knows. She swears she smudged the house a few months ago so no ghosts here. I said, well he could’ve moved in yesterday. She responded that Mr. Breakyourjaw just moved in yesterday too so who really did it. IDK.

Sounds really good, just too big and heavy to be portable.
Sounds really good, however its too big and heavy to be portable. Im in a band that plays out reguraly, and it takes up too much space for a gigging band. The srm is smaller and easier to lug around. The bass you miss is minimal.

Phenomenal difference when paired with simple 2-way speakers.
If you have ANY doubts what an immense difference a subwoofer makes on your system, set them aside. The addition of this to Mackie 15" speakers resulted in our ability to put another 15db of sound pressure out of the system before experiencing distortion. Manageable weight, the unit was easy to hook up and have running in minutes. Sound tests surprised even the least audio-sophisticated of our team members. The case is solid and built well with good fit and finish. The addition was a very cost-effective upgrade of an existing system.

MACKIE STEPPED UP THEIR GAME!
Everyone's goto is always jbl, alto, or some other brand... Mackie has done their homework with these. Quite often I have other audio engineers listen to my speakers and comment, holy crap, that's mackie?!? They're LOUD, CRISP, and you can't break them. I have 12 so far for different events and venues. Fantastic.. I can't say enough.

Horrible design. Speakers lack of a fan is a huge negative. They can hype it up all they want saying the air flow from the speaker cools the amp but that is bs. So far I have had 3 of these 1 arrived with the hf driver not working and the other 2 stopped after 2 gigs. Barely pushed had to run home and get my EV etx 15p 2 way tops to finish the event. Mackie customer service is a complete joke only suggestion they had was to drive 4 hours to a repair center for a brand new speaker.

Dsp, kristal netliğinde ses.. Ancak kutu hasarlı geldi. Hoparlörün ön korumasında hafif içe göçük var. Değişime gerek kalmadan Amazon %10 para iadesi ile yine memnun etti.
