Assembly depends on two-piece tapered compression sleeves that loosely attach to the poles and shelves slide downward over each sleeve. The downward pressure of the shelves lock each shelf in place and provide a sturdy surface that will support a lot more weight than I intend to put on it. The adjustment points on the bottom are a tight fit and may require a little force to attach, but it is not difficult. Just make sure the adjustment bolt is removed from the inside of the pole before you do. Mostly intuitive assembly helps, and since I measured the available space, I found this to be a perfect fit. ### ⭐ Arrived with no poles *by K***S on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on April 7, 2023* The shipping box was dirty and beat up, but it didn't have substantial holes in it. Nonetheless, it contained just the 4 shelves and bag of parts - no poles. There should have been 4 poles to mount the shelves on. I initiated a return, replaced by the same item.
