do you have to keep using this indefinitely or can you stop once the dandruff goes away?

I use it intermittently. You will probably see a difference almost immediately, but once you go back to your same old routine the dandruff will most likely come back. I just keep it in the shower and use it when I need it. Nothing wrong with it being used often or randomly.

Is this a trial sized product?

It may look like it’s trial size but it isn’t. It’s not a large bottle but it’s the perfect size for me. Use no more than 2x a week it lasts forever for me

how do you know whether to use 2.5% or the 5% shampoo?

You just have to try and see what works best. Oddly, the 2.5 has always worked better for me.
