I expected the color to be a pinkish purple like the one pictured in the product pictures. The case is bright fushia not purple at all. I just wanted to let other potential buyers know so that they don't make the same mistake. Other than the color not being as I expected, this tekcase is a nice accessory for any ds lite owner and my sister likes it (hasn't tried it out yet, though). This cased combined with some pink skins I purchased worked together to make the DS pink just like she wanted. It completely covers the red outside of the DS.
