I cannot find out how to open it?** A: The tail of the flashlight can be unscrewed counterclockwise. Please insert AA batteries or 14500 batteries. The build quality and materials are surprisingly good for such an inexpensive item. The torch switches Ito a flashing mode without warning however that can be cancelled with a partial press on the on/off button. The battery is a loose fit so iff one holds the torch vertically it disconnects and the light goes off. I expect that can be rectified with a bit of tin foil. The review is 4 star because for the price it's OK.
