Slats usually fall out of place making the bed uneven. If this is your problem I can vouch that these replacements work very well and are easy to install. When they arrived I thought "what a waste of money". But I had to fix the bed so tried using the stripe and they are perfect. Size in this case definitely doesn't matter.
