My 8 year old daughter loves fairy tales. These are great. Good pictures and stories that she can read herself.

GOOD BOOK
I bought the book for my 6 year old grandson. He's just learning to read. The book was easy to read and he really enjoyed reading it to the family. A really great book.

Not a Good Example of Parenting, But...
This is pretty much faithful to the original tale of years gone by. And the illustrations are superb and easily carry the story. It takes 13 minutes to finish--with some elaboration--as a read-aloud to grades K-2. Lots of fun! The Creative Teacher: Activities for Language Arts (Grades 4 through 8 and Up)

Grear retell of this fab fairy tale
Bought this book for my granddaughter after borrowing it from San Jose library. She adores it and can recite it off by heart. It's amusingly illustrated and well written. We love it

Basic Hansel & Gretel story with good humour
This author has a great humorous touch he adds to this traditional story. Kids are going to laugh. Large book with full colour illustrations.

I didn't like the art work and the looks of the witch. Also the story was not true to the actual fairy tale.
