This is my initial review after using it for the first time. It's for remote work and meetings, and wanted a light weight headset. I did not buy it for music or gaming. Good: Light weight, good to take on the road with. Swinging mic which is what I was looking for, most gaming headset has a short and fixed microphone and they don't always work well picking up what you say. Comes with an splitter/adapter for the single 3.5" plug to two plugs, saves me a few dollars and the hassle of getting one. People in my meetings said they can hear me very clearly, so the audio quality seems good. Not so good: No volume control, you have to use the laptop, inconvenient but not a big deal. Very flimsy built with tiny wires, I think they won't last long. The ear cushions don't fit very well and are hard on my ears, not at all comfortable to wear, OK for short sessions. The packaging is a cheap a flimsy box that was squashed upon delivery, thankfully the headset was not damaged. The gaming headsets I bought all had thick sturdy packaging with bubble wraps inside. I returned a a more expensive gaming headset as it is huge, too big to travel with or to wear a long time. I'd say this one is OK value for the price, although it should really cost half considering the flimsy built. I don't expect it to last too long, but I think I will keep this nevertheless, until it breaks. In the mean time, I'm still searching for a better light-weight headset with swinging mic, and would rather pay more for something better. PS. The mic does not fold away, so not good for travelling, putting this in a backpack will break the mic. PPS: Update after using 4-5 hours everyday for conference calls and online meetings. This head set is extremely uncomfortable to wear, my ears hurt after a while, the paddings are very hard. The boom microphone does not adjust well. I'm downgrading this to 2 stars, should be 1.5 stars. I'm buying a replacement headset.

Comfortable, adjustable and excellent for the work I do. I've used several types of headsets over the years and this one is my favorite. Great value and construction.

Comfortable, good sound quality, but the microphone seems to be too far away to correctly pickup my voice. I have to physically bend the mic closer to my mouth when I'm speaking so that others can hear me.

You sound like a pilot. It breaks after 1 year (the mic will no longer stay up on its own and the cable is faulty).

Son bastante buenos, se escucha muy bien y el micro también funciona sin problemas. El precio creo es adecuado y es muy cómodo de llevar puesto. Además, el servicio de entrega con amazon premium fue muy rápido.

La qualità dell'audio che si ottiene è molto buona rispetto al prezzo pagato. Funziona subito con skype su win7. E' comodo anche da indossare e sufficientemente leggero. Consigliato a chi non ha grosse pretese.

Habe das Head-Set für meine Frau zum GB gekauft, da sie für ein Game bzw. für denn Team Speak eines gebraucht hat. Sie hatte bislang ein einfaches für ca. 6€ gehabt, wo eine USB Soundkarte gleich dabei war. Leider hat dieses bis auf die Soundkarte nicht so lange gehalten, was will man für das Geld auch erwarten. Nun sie hat ihr neues gleich angeschlossen, und war SUPER zufrieden, selbst mein Sohn, der gelegentlich Musik macht am PC, war von den Klangeigenschaften überrascht, seine Meinung dazu: sehr schöne tiefen, ein brillanter Hochtonbereich, und die mitten sind auch gut ausgewogen, wo es bei Sprachausgaben ja besonders drauf an kommt. Das Mikrofon, ist auch sehr gut, die Gegenseite kann sie nun sehr gut verstehen, teilweise kam sogar die Bemerkung "ich höre dich nun so gut, als würdest du neben mir stehen" ;) Der Versand war Promt, und es war auch sehr schön eingepackt, Danke an dieser stelle nochmal. Rund um, viel für wenig Geld, sowas hat man nur noch selten, zumal Markenware zu diesem Preis. Ideal für den Standard User, unter Umständen auch für gehobenere Ansprüche zu empfehlen. Er sitzt ohne zu drücken, was bei dem anderem nicht der Fall war. Umgebungsgeräusche kommen nur ein wenig rein, durch die Vollschalen gut gedämpft. Was die Haltbarkeit betrifft, kann ich zu späterem Zeitpunkt nochmal einen Kommentar abgeben, jedoch machen mir auch die Kabel einen guten und stabilen eindruck.

Purchased these a month ago and waited to see how they held up. Delivered earlier than expected which was fantastic and the packaging was intact. So far so good. I enjoy the volume adjust and the headset itself is very comfortable and light weight. The mic is great on Skype and the cushioned earphones make it great for wearing over long periods of time. Brilliant for the price, almost identical to the one I used to have, except the wire on this is far more flexible and this one has a volume adjust on it which my last one did not. (I'd previously bought a Phillips headset from Argos and it barely lasted a year before it had several faults and it was three times the price of this one.) All in all a really good headset, especially for the price. Will never buy the more expensive ones again.
