L7 Case for Square Reader and iPad Mini (4th & 5th Generation)

When the new iPad Mini came out I ordered this case and received a defective one, I guess the tech specs needed to be honed in. I was upset that I couldn't use the swiper as it didn't fit in the earphone jack through the case. The company has since, without my even asking, sent me a new and updated product that works perfectly and has access to all the ports. This product is great and helps keep the chip reader and iPad together so they don't get lost (as our servers misplace them constantly) and makes accepting payment a one step process without a bunch of moving parts. I would recommend this product and company to anyone who uses iPads as their POS system.

The product is solid and works as intended. The only problem with it is how hard it is to get an iPad back out of this once it's in. Fits well going in, but you could very easily crack the screen or damage your iPad getting it out. It's insanely difficult to do so and I only recommend this product if you know for sure you won't want your iPad in any other case.

I will have to say I am IMPRESSED. Not only with this product but also with the outstanding customer service. I am a small business owner (times 2) in Alaska and will ALWAYS support another small business if possible. This winter I searched (for months) online for a case for my ipad4 mini's for my drive-thru coffee shop, specifically one that was compatible with the Square dip AND swiper, I learned these are NOT EASY to find. I thought I hit the jackpot with this product. I was excited to get these on my electronics but unfortunately they came defective (by a few millimeters which made them unusable). I contacted L7 with the phone number provided by Amazon and was pleased to reach Nathan, the owner. Nathan apologized for the inconvenience and assured me replacements were on their way. Not more than a week later I received two replacements and they fit PERFECT.The owner of L7, Nathan Gildersleeve went above and beyond to ensure his products meet & exceed expectation. I called L7's customer service with questions regarding the L7 cases for my ipad4 mini and he personally answered them. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days and deserves applaud.I have used my cases for over 6 months and will DEFINITELY purchase my future cases for anything and everything from this business.Mistakes happen, we are all human but finding a business that cares about its customers is GOLD in my book.A business who stands behind their products is a rare find and will always get my attention. We currently own seven of their cases, four of the old model and three of the new. They had gotten a bad batch when we order the three new ones, but the seller immediately sent me replacements. He even included a hand written note expressing his apologies. They've since gotten the manufacturing issue sorted out, and I look forward to ordering more as we need them!

I am Editing my review of the defective case I got in January.I was upset that the case was defective (which happens we are human). The company not only reached oit immediately and apologized, they replaced my case along with a hand written apology.I am very sorry I didn’t take the time to reach out and let them know the case was defective As soon as I got it. This small business could be affected by my one star review and I should have taken the time to reach out and let them know I was upset.The replacement is perfect, works great and helps me run my business smoothly!
