Globes 22720 Regency Globe, Antique

Beautiful looking globe but one of the screwed legs came with no tapped hole to catch it. Now I have a drilling and tapping project ahead of me and for the costs of this globe, this is not acceptable. Replogle, do better!

This is an attractive floor globe. Dresses up my living room. Delivered promptly and assembled easily.

Beautiful design but I kept back a star because the stand is not real wood. It’s not the quality I was looking for but for the price it was a good deal. Hard to see that it wasn’t wood from the pictures online and the fact that when you search for wooden stand globes the Regency model pops up. All in all nice addition to our home library. Quick delivery and very easy to assemble.

The globe looks good. But when you really check it, you can see the latitude and longitude lines are not exactly align. The mismatch cause the mountains shift. For example, we all know there is a central valley in California. But the globe shows you that a series of mountains range on the middle of California. Hope they can do a better job.

Very disappointed with the quality of this globe, especially for the price. The paper is not aligned properly, causing splits in borders and cutting off names. Don't waste your money.

I was surprised by the quality (or lack thereof) of this globe- especially the stand itself. Although it is simple to assemble, it's difficult to get legs adjusted to be parallel with each other. One of the inset screws was loose and required some minor woodworking to become firm- and yet it remains a bit wobbly. I can live with the fact that it was delivered a week later than promised, and was not here to be given as a timely gift. Quality-wise, though, for this price, I feel I put too much faith in other reviews, and wish I had done more shopping.

My husband and I are very interested in world events, and we had a very old globe. This one arrived, and we are thrilled with how much detail it offers. You can actually see mountain ranges rise up. Also, there appears to be more cities such as Crimea. Looking at it, in light of what is going on in Ukraine, we see how closely the USSR contained a great deal of Europe. Thanks to freedom, Western Europe has expanded. We hope freedom reigns and spreads to the rest of the World. We can search this wonderful globe as this unfolding, hopefully, happens.

Pros: The furniture part of this globe looks very good in my living room among nice furniture. Style and size of globe fit a larger room well without being too large. Cons: Legs were not even - needed to level them out using felt pads. If you look closely at globe, some of the lines do not match up where different segments of the printed portion were applied. Despite the cons, I am overall quite happy with this globe, which we purchase mostly for decorative purposes.
