Review: works great - best spray bottle I've ever used without aerosols. never could get Misto to work right. this one works right out of the box. I like being in control of what oil I use and being able to reuse the bottle. there are multiple labels in case you want to have different oils on hand.
Review: Huge capacity, and it works without extensive "priming the pump" - I was very dissatisfied with the cheap generic oil sprayer I had previously purchased from desertcart (although I liked the included cleaning tools, so I didn't return it), so I researched oil sprayers with better reputations. I saw a very helpful how-to-use video by Evo on YouTube, and was impressed by the clever design. I also saw an independent video review which was somewhat critical, but I decided that I could live with what the other reviewer saw as flaws, since the Evo oil sprayer did spray immediately upon turning the adjustable nozzle to the ON position, which the generic oil sprayer had been unable to do, even after extensive preliminary "priming the pump". This 18 oz. red version was the least expensive Evo available on desertcart, so I went with that. The Evo arrived on time and undamaged in a bubble mailer, complete with all of the pieces which had been shown in the manufacturer's how-to video. One screws on the included funnel to the top opening, pours in however much oil or vinegar one wishes (in my case, the avocado oil I had attempted to fill the generic oil sprayer with), unscrews the funnel, slips on a reversible rubber-band label from the included set of 3 (nothing specifically "avocado oil", so I went with "vegetable oil", since both have high smoke points), and then screws on the nozzle (making sure the nozzle tube below is pointing the same direction as the nozzle tip, to ensure complete emptying of the bottle). Nothing came out the first time I pumped it -- but then I looked and saw that the nozzle tip was adjustable, and needed to be turned from OFF to one of the two ON positions. Once that was done, I had no problem dispensing a wide fan of spray, allowing for quick, even coverage with minimal oil use (just 1/4 teaspoon per pump, I think). This allows for coverage of large areas (as an aerosol cooking oil spray would), without the propellants which can cause excess wear of nonstick coatings. And the 18 oz. capacity of this model is huge! (I could easily fit 1/2-2/3 of a bottle of olive oil or avocado oil in here.) The 18 oz. Evo is probably a little too big for table service of vinegar and oil with salads (which is what I suspect is the main intended use of the 2-pack of 8 oz. Evos); however, this 18 oz. size is perfect for prep work for home cooks who use a lot of one particular kind of oil (in my case, either avocado oil or an inexpensive olive/sunflower oil blend. I have already used this successfully with my air fryer, and if it proves to be generally useful, I may phase out the aerosol cooking oil sprays in my kitchen cupboard, and just use this instead. Highly recommended!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: One of the biggest problems with olive oil spray / misters is clogging.  Does this have any protections / warrenty concerning this issue?**
A: If I had to guess those that are experiencing clogs may not be using true olive oil. The olive oil business can be a bit sketchy. If you have  trustworthy Olive oil brand you probably don't have anything to worry about. That may be why some have problems right away while others have been using it for years with no problems.

**Q: Can it be cleaned? Seems to plug at random..**
A: I have not encountered that problem.  My EVO's work every time.  Are you sure the sprayer is set to spray not off.  There are 2 spray positions & 2 off positions.  As for cleaning, if you are using it for oil a drop or 2 of dawn & very warm water.  Shake it up and spray it to break up any buildup in the sprayer.  Then rinse the container thoroughly with cold water, then partially fill with cold water and spray the water until all the soap residue is expressed from the nozzle.

**Q: Can I use it with vinegar?**
A: Absolutely. One of our favorite ways to use the EVO is for spraying balsamic vinegar onto salads and other foods.

**Q: Does the bottle or handle leak when you spray?**
A: No it has not leaked and I have really liked it. Will be getting a few more and labeling them for other rolis.

I was very dissatisfied with the cheap generic oil sprayer I had previously purchased from Amazon (although I liked the included cleaning tools, so I didn't return it), so I researched oil sprayers with better reputations. I saw a very helpful how-to-use video by Evo on YouTube, and was impressed by the clever design. I also saw an independent video review which was somewhat critical, but I decided that I could live with what the other reviewer saw as flaws, since the Evo oil sprayer did spray immediately upon turning the adjustable nozzle to the ON position, which the generic oil sprayer had been unable to do, even after extensive preliminary "priming the pump". This 18 oz. red version was the least expensive Evo available on Amazon, so I went with that. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not perfect, but better than Misto!

I have had it with the Misto sprayers. I've purchased 4 of them in the past year and none of them still works. So I was looking for something that works differently. So here's what's good about it: it works (at least, so far -- two of the Misto sprayers I purchased didn't work right out of the box). It has a nozzle that swivels -- you can spray or stream or turn it off. Here's what's bad about it: The spray isn't as fine as the Misto. Not nearly. I sprayed it on crumb topping tonight and it moved some of the topping around -- it comes out with that much force. And it drips. Something that could be good or bad, depending on your preference: It's HUGE! Take note, dear shopper, this thing holds 18 ounces of oil! I considered buying the two 8 ounce ones. I *would* have bought 1 8-ounce one for $15, but they didn't give me that option. I don't need 2 of these things, so paying $5 more for 2 small ones just doesn't make sense, especially since I didn't know if I would even like it. This thing takes up twice as much space on my counter as the Misto. I suppose I will be glad when I don't have to refill it as often, but I kind of wish this was 12 ounces. That seems about right to me. Another note: This comes with a teeny little funnel, which I will probably have lost before it's time to fill this thing again. Nice touch, but not really necessary. I'd rather not have it and save $1. It also comes with 3 different colored rubber "collars' you can put on it so if you have two or more, you can tell them apart. Another nice, if unnecessary touch. I could see wanting that for the smaller ones. I think this will suit most of my needs, but it is not perfect. I will come back and edit this post if this thing stops working at some point. Added 10 months later: Okay, I still have this and it still works. And I still agree with everything I've said above: It's too big, and it drips, and the spray is not "fine" in consistency. But it still works and I'm mostly happy with it. At least it wasn't a waste of money. They should sell an 8 oz. one without the funnel or the different colored collars and charge $15 for it.
