1-Pack Led Panel Ceiling Light Fixtures 24w 5730 SMD Circle Annular Round Replacement Board Bulb 3500K (Warm White)

This replaced an 8" fluorescent bulb that burned out. All you have to do is remove the old starter, splice in the LED driver, remove any bulb holders for the old bulb, and this snaps in with the included magnet standoffs. It's a 10 minute affair. The result is 2-3 times brighter that the old fluorescent bulb. My fixture has a translucent plastic lamp cover that fit pretty tight to the base. So I drilled a series of 1/4" holes around the base of the plastic lamp cover where they wouldn't be seen to ventilate the fixture just in case. The lamp is now much brighter with a warm glow that works well in the utility room where it's installed. The provided LED driver has mounting holes but I just stuck it to the base of the lamp with velcro since it's very light. Works great. I only wish we could make LED products in the USA so I could buy American!

Great product and it revived my kitchen ceiling light. I might need clean the grease covered plastic cover to get the 2400 lumen :) The LED driver is a little bit flimsy and hope it can last longer. I made a stupid mistake, trying to pull the ballast out of the housing rather than directly cutting and stripping the incoming wires of the ballast as the manual suggested, and it became a fiasco....Just using the wire connector in the kit instead using wire nuts from the old housing. A 10 minute work became 2 and half hours.

Update- this is my second one and it's in better shape than the first that arrived bent. Did bother with the magnets this time just used some small nuts and bolts I has around. Works excellent. No more FL bulbs for meI had a nice looking (though florescent) light fixture for a laundry room that had two rings, one about 12" and the other 8". I also wanted to put an auto switch on the wall and that was tough to do with FL lights (due to the ballast I guess). Plus the lights were getting worn out and we that crummy FL color. I ordered this and used the old fixture housing that was still in nice condition . The only issue was tearing out the little clips that held in the old FL bulbs that were riveted into the housing. The magnets worked out but were a little fragile. I dropped the whole unit and two of them shattered but they gave two extras but one of those broke but it still stays in place ok.The packaging could have been better which is why I gave them a 4. The LED light itself is very thin and the post man actually FOLDED it to stuff it in my mailbox. I was able to flatten it out some and there is a plastic cover it anyways. all the LEDS pods work also.But the light itself works fine. The color is warmish- better than FL anyways... and I also bought a motion detected switch and now the whole thing turns on when you enter the room and stays on for 1/5/15 minutes. (another amazon part that cost more than this light) ..

relatively easy to install / adapt to old torcherie lamp. Same light output and color as our old flourescent tube. Removed ballast and ring adaptor. I purchased and installed this light in November. It's now April and it has stopped working. We checked all other connections. I'm disappointed in the quality of this product.

So far so good. Was easy to install after screwing the magnets on, which does take a few minutes. Not sure why they didn't jsut put them on for you. Doesn't hum or blink like the other two i got from home depot.

I purchased 2 of these to upgrade a couple halogen torchiere stand lights. After removing the halogen bulb mounting hardware and related safety shutoff hardware, splicing in the wires for the LED fixture was a piece of cake. In addition to saving electricity, not only does the 24w LED fixture put out almost as much light as a 500w halogen bulb, but I no longer have to worry about the safety hazard that the halogen bulb presented. i did have to disable the dimming switch on the lamps, but that's not a big deal given that I like the amount of light that is produced by the LED fixture.Have been using these fixtures for over 5 months and have had no problems.

Should not be sold.

This product was very easy to install. The light is nice and warm just the way I like it. I will be buying three more to replace the circular fluorescent tubes that keep dying on me.
