This elliptical is great addition to my little home gym! The various programs as got me sweating way more than the treadmill ever did. I don't use the iFit on it but it is a possibility in the future. Just with the built in settings, I am able to get a great workout and with different variety. I really like that there seems to be a stabilizer of sorts that make the machine work better on carpet. I've had a different elliptical from Golds Gum I. The past and it was really bad on the carpet. It made me not want to even use it cause it moved around so much. With this machine, I don't have that issue. I've had this for about 5 months and use it 4-5 a week and haven't had any issues. The reaistance and incline settings are really nice and you can feel that they are working different muscles with the different settings.A really great workout machine and would recommend to anyone looking to get in shape. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product, but damaged during shipping due to poor packaging. *by R***T on January 10, 2016*  The Proform 735 Elliptical is great as advertised, and I am very pleased with my purchase. The setup was easy approx 6 bolts to install. The Proform 735 Elliptical has a smooth operation. However the shipping is very hard on this item, especially due to the poor packaging and the Proform 735 Elliptical having plenty of plastic-and in my case damaged in several locations. Its not a good feeling opening up the box and several broken plastic pieces fall out of the box. Finally, during my first work out there was this annoying loud clicking noise coming from the handle area. I later found out it was related to the "up right knob." I had to back off the "up right -knob" a quarter turn to eliminate the loud annoying clicking noise. It appears that is a design flaw within that area. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works just like it's supposed to. *by M***S on May 7, 2017* First, I did get a thin, foldable, mat to put under it. I have wood floors and HIGHLY recommend this practice. It's especially important to me because I live an an apartment building with neighbors below me. The mat helps dampen the noise of the movement of the elliptical.Second, yes, there was a little bit of a squeak in the wheel area for the first couple of times I used the machine. However, that stopped and I haven't heard anything like it since.I DO wish the iFit programs were less expensive. I wish there had been one complimentary one I got with it to give me a taste of what the programs were like. Not knowing exactly how they are prevents me from experimenting on an expensive one.The movement is smooth and it holds its' incline adjustment. Also, I was on the lookout for it to need ever-increasing tension adjustment and that hasn't happened. It holds its' tension, even after many uses. I think I've used it over 30 times, for about an hour each time.The foot pads are adjustable, but not enough to make me really happy: I'd rather my toes not point down at all during the movement cycle. Feels better for my knees when my toes don't point down. I also wish they had just a little more "give" in them.The fan is GREAT! Makes a big difference for me.Overall, this has been a great purchase for me: the ability to fold it up in my apartment is a substantial benefit to me. I will say, though, this thing is *heavy!* Lift from your legs when pushing it up and lowering it down.
