Although my son loves his device, when he is frustrated, he throws them. Over the years I’ve invested a lot of money on expensive cases and I can’t tell you how many broken screens we’ve had to fix over the years. I took a chance when I saw that this device has screws and can only be opened by a special tool. I’m glad I did because this case has been the only one that has survived a year. No fast balls or curve balls, just casually tossed waist level onto the wood floor and nadda!
