Everything is incredible ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ awesome bluetooth speaker, very loud, good bass and looks cool *by M***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on March 20, 2018* Most of my music now is stored digitally so wanted something that was not large and not take up much space, something that looked nice in my living room, i did not buy for it's portability which is nice though if you want to put in car or take out on trip or something like that.Well i'm no music buff or pro but i'm 30yo and one of these is more than enough. It is very loud and i cannot imagine having two on together to be honest let alone a daisy chain of them. Hit the extra BASS button and omg even my cats dart off so i keep the BASS off and keep it on low volume, don't think neighbours would be happy either.Connects to my macbook, phone (via app) which is great by the way although DJ features etc i think are just gimmicky even for students. But other settings are good for configuring the speaker via you're phone. Want a radio? install a radio app (many on play store) on your phone, connect phone to speaker play the radio via the radio app and radio will come through speakers. any audio from phone will come through to speaker so applies to anything really.I like i can change the light strip colour from RAVE to Calm to STROBE and other ones can't remember them all and individual colours to set the mood or turn lights off all together which is good as sometimes i don't want the lights on.Battery life is not 24 hours that's just not the case for me, i got maybe 8 hours definitely not 24 but i don't take it out so not to much of a problem, could be a dodgy battery in mine perhaps.It has a microphone built in so you can answer calls via the speaker, not tested this as not interested in that feature to be honest. Hold the answer button down on speaker and it will tell you how much charge you have left and when to charge although the funny thing is the voice that tells you how much juice is left in battery is so low i can barely hear it with my ear next to the speak and forget about being able to hear her when you playing music, surely it would make sense to reduce music volume whilst she tells me how much juice is left.This brings me on to the major negative, when the battery drops to a certain level not that low either the speaker goes in to low volume mode and you cannot even turn it up loud again! why does sony think they have the rite to tell me because speaker is getting low on juice they can have the firmware to change the volume to auto turn itself down and block me from turning it backup until plugged in! i am furious over this, yes it will allow battery to last longer reducing the volume when battery starts getting low but i should make the choice if i want the volume to still be loud or reduce volume to make battery last longer, it's like being held to ransom by a speaker lols.The quality is good, feels rugged and solid to hold, definitely does not feel cheap or like it will break which is good as it is meant to be used for it's portability. I did not purchase a carry case when making the purchase, amazon did make a recommendation to add a case, i did not but again not taking anywhere or moving it around much but would recommend you get one if you are thinking of using it for it's portability.I would recommend but the volume auto going down once battery gets to to a certain percentage and not being able to turn it up again until plugged back in is shocking and silly choice sony made. However i do like it and i can just keep it plugged in when using as not taking it out but still not good enough either as it's meant to be portable, when she speaks to tell you how much juice is left she speaks so low you can barely hear her and if music is on then forget it as music does not go quiet when she tells you so can't hear her anyway. But would still recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Une super enceinte pour animé des soirée en interieur ou exterieur et même plus *by F***O on Reviewed in France on January 3, 2019* J'ai acquis 2 enceinte pour en faire une paire stéréo, et je peut dire que je ne suis pas déçus. J'avais peur de ne pas avoir un son aussi équilibré que la JBL xtreme, mais après un petit réglage de l'équalizer (pour ceux que sa intéresse, j'ai mis -1 aux basses, -2 aux medium, +3 aux aigu) je pense qu'elle est encore plus qualitative que la JBL(après c'est une question de gout, et on est clairement pas sur de l'enceinte hifi neutre que ce soit chez sony ou jbl). elle garde en mémoire les paramètre sur les enceintes, ce qui permet par la suite de les utiliser avec n'importe quel appareil avec les réglages qu'on a définit au niveau du son (équalizer, stéréo ou party chain, style lumineux, ...).Petit bémol concernant la prise en charge du LDAC, qui ne se fait que quand il n'y a qu'une seule enceinte xb40, des que l'on en a 2 ou plus on perd l'avantage "codec hires sony".mais même sans le LDAC toutes les sources audio sont restitué de manière agréable, étonnant. probablement un traitement de son flatteur au niveau de l’électronique de l'enceinte. Mais honnêtement sa ne dénature pas les morceaux et même a pleine puissance on ne perçois pas la distorsion ou même de saturation. Un vrai plaisir de ce point de vue la.Autre petit bémol sur les appel, une seule des 2 enceintes est utilisé, du coup des fois on se trompe et on ne s'approche pas de celle utilisé pour les appels. mais bon rien de bien méchant pour moi vu que je ne compte pas l'utilisé pour cet usage.Pour le mode stéréo avec les 2 enceintes, vu qu'elle ont une plage de fréquence réelle de 20Hz a prés de 16 ou 18 Khz (limite haute probablement liée aux codec bluetooth), le son est vraiment complet, on ne sent aucun manque que ce soit au niveau des extrême basse que des aigus.Le son est enveloppant en intérieur, et impressionnant en extérieur vis a vis de leur taille.Après il faut test avec et sans le mode extra bass en fonction de la situation, mais en extérieur le renforcement des basses est bluffant, en intérieur sa peut être too much, mais là, pareil c'est une question de gout de tout un chacun...
