I struggled to route a microusb cable from the power source inside the base of the rear view mirror to the camera mounted just behind it. The cables I was trying to use had such wide ends that they could not squeeze through the small opening. My options were to disassemble many trim pieces and probably the entire rear view mirror (which contains the Autopilot computer in my Tesla Model S) or get a cable that could squeeze through. This cable let me do that. It has a thin end and sturdy wire so I didn’t have to fish it through; I was able to simply push it through the opening. I pulled it through with significant force and it held up well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great but not perfect *by C***O on Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2019* I bought the micro-USB extension to prevent premature wear to the micro-USB port on my Raveman CR-900 bike light ( which also uses a wired remote control using the same port. ( I had to buy a new lamp because a metal piece inside the port broke which made it impossible to recharge the lamp ) The extension wire works fine with the new lamp but when I try to connect the remote control wire into the female side of the extension, the male portion of the remote wire does not slide in all the way. It still works but the two ends do not meet flush together. I am in the process of ordering another brand that has a deeper female side. ### ⭐ Very Disappointed, NOT recommended *by M***S on Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2019* Purchased 2 in June and it’s Ovtoberbans they are both bad , jay stopped charging or connecting!
