I know that at $80 it isnt our of reason in pricing if you compare it to other accessories like desk mats. At the same time i recently paid $100 for a chair mat made of poly carbonate for the office and that item was so ridged that it uncoiled like a spring out of the box. So granted yes i just spent $100 on plastic for my floor but at least some real engineering went into it. Like i said in my headline, this is literally a mouse pad for the floor. its the same material just larger which did not leave a good first impression. After trying it for 10min i gave up and valued my money way more than this product. I really hope this is just a money grab idea because at least i wont be hurting anyone's feelings for making this product. But if they really do want to make a quality mat made for high traffic, high use and for "gaming" chairs then please spend some time to actually develop a product than just reusing a generic material and cutting it to fit the floor.
