It’s not painful. There is only a slight sting after using it. The only reason that I’m not giving 5 stars is that there are lots of grammatical errors on the packaging. I worry about the quality of a product when there is such a lack of attention to detail. ### ⭐⭐⭐ There are Better Options Available *by W***M on December 27, 2018* Not impressed with the quality of the roller, they are small, one had bent needles, they squeak the ENTIRE time you are rolling (at least the 0.50mm one I have been using does).
