I didn’t trust the lanyard that was included as light plastic clip to fix it together, instead used paracord. Overall fairly priced solid bit of kit. Bought the £30 version of this one from the main competitor - it's needle would barely turn and again gave inconsistent readings. Gave in and tried for a third time with this one - it works perfectly. Smooth, fluid rotation and, therefore, consistent readings. Why is it so hard for us to make something so simple?
