AudioControl ACR-1 Dash Remote Level or Volume Controller with 20ft Cable

Bought a used LC2i and it didn’t have the remote control. I purchased this and it was a direct fit and works exactly as expected. I am now able to fully control my subwoofer output. This is also easy to make discrete! It even includes a template to show you exactly how large to make the hole for the knob and led light. In the photo of my review, you will see it installed on a 2019 F150 on the left hand side of the steering wheel. Super easy to do if you have ever pulled trim pieces on your car. The remote control installs on the back side and there is a small threaded washer that holds it snug on the other side. Then the knob just pops on and completely hides the washer. I am very happy with this purchase even after owning for several months now!

I bought this when I bought the unit itself and it does work as you'd want it to. It's kind of difficult to mount though.. Although I can't say i could offer a better solution as its a tough thing to mount a nob in a car aftermarket and make it look stock. The bracket on this made basically just didn't work in my 2015 wrangler. There is no real under dash type spot to mount. So loving the ability to adjust the bass without altering all of the speakers when tied into a stock system.

I needed a way to easily control the volume for the subwoofer in my car - the one that the installer had connected directly to the sub did nothing. Through a little research, I found that this controller, connected to AudioControl's LC6i, would control the sub output, and it lives up to that promise. The only knock that I can give is that the notch in the knob that shows you what level you are on is black, so you can't see it in the dark. I am going to either paint it white or find some other luminous material.

This is my second one. Fantastic initially but after about six months the control volume knob (pot) gets scratchy when turning, and you can't control the volume.... It loses its sensitivity

The Audiocontrol ACR-1 is a great addition to the LC2I and the LC7I, it allows you to set the amount of bass you want in your vehicle without having to go play with the level control at the amplifier. I still have not mounted it anywhere just had it plugged in and placed in the glove compartment, will be mounting it in the dash on the driver's side in an empty switch location.

This remote allows me to easily control the bass that is going to my 1000 watt sub amp right at my finger tips
