(my set only had two files) **Q: Is it possible to disinfect/clean these, and if so, how?** A: I have only used the metal ones, those with black handles, but I confess I have never felt the need to clean them. They are metal so could easily be washed and disinfected. Once thoroughly dried they should be ok to use. They are very good nail files. I hope this helps. **Q: Are these good for acrylic/gel nails?** A: The nail files should be strong enough .. the buffer is not suitable **Q: Is this two identical files, or two different ones with four different grades?** A: Hi Mr Mcintosh, if they are the same items as mine, then they are two identical nail files with courser on one side. Nevertheless, I found that the files are just too narrow for me, and would prefer that standard emery-board width files could be bought.
