I've read many reviews complaining about the tight fit and difficulty in putting it on and taking it off. Of course, it feels a bit tight at first, otherwise it would be rather ineffective at helping with posture. One quickly gets used to how to put on and remove the shirt (it's not all that difficult as some would make it seem and easily done without anyone's assistance -- plus you do get somewhat of a nice feeling when you take it off and feel less restricted). Can’t speak for a women. **Q: Would you recommend wearing this shirt every day? If not, how often?** A: It is your choice--I personally did not feel that I got any benefit from wearing the shirt so after a while I quit wearing it. **Q: I have 42" chest am 5'11" and with 172 pounds what size should I order** A: Hi, I'm a similar build (same chest, 2" taller, and a tad heavier) and have three of these all in size Large. This is the size, per the sizing chart, and I agree that it runs "true to fit" (size chart has L = chest 40-44, M = 36-40). Because this is a posture shirt, it is quite snug so it can do the job. It can be a struggle to put it on and take it off, and while it compresses and feels tight while on, it feels comfortable in no time -- after a short time ramping up the wearing time, I now can wear it for hours (on long walks/hikes) without any discomfort. I doubt that I could be comfortable in a medium (I probably couldn't get it on and off without hurting myself) and an XL would be too large and not be effective for posture.
