This helmet is much lighter and fits better than the old one, and I think it looks cooler too. The XXL fit my head almost perfectly and I wear a 7 3/4 - 7 7/8 fitted baseball hat. The hole your head fits into is very round and is just a bit tight on my forehead, so there will need to be a breaking in period but like my last helmet it will probably be perfect after a few days of riding. I also like the versatility of the removeable face shield and also the quick strap vs the double loop type. The flip down shades are also cool. I can't say how well it protects in the heat of the moment and hopefully I never find out, but ultimately this is a nice value helmet for the price.
