Since the Ultra-Loc patches are expensive so I decided to use this product with another as reinforcement and added security of the straps. I did apply it the patches to both the top and under sides of the damaged area. Worked like a charm. The adhesive is strong, and the material matches my cover.It's been in place for 3 weeks to this point and under tension since covering the pool 2 weeks ago. So far, so good, hence the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 until we see it prove worthiness over time and through a winter.It was easy to apply. If finally used the patches to cover a hole that was about 6" around. Make a long story short I need a bigger patch. The dogs decided that did not like the patches and removed them the next day. Not a patch problem a dog problem.
