It’s nice lager **Q: Whats the strength of this** A: The answer is variable dependent on the amount of sugar added, temperature etc. I brew it for 7-10 days with 1Kg of sugar added. I use a heat belt on my fermentation bucket to maintain a temp of around 22-24 degrees. I then add a further half a teaspoon per 500mL for secondary fermentation in the barrel and bottles. I split the 40 pints in half and bottle 20, keg 20. This allows for good pressure build up in the barrel all the way through until the barrel is empty. With my process I achieve approx 4-5% ABV.
