Shed Ender Professional Deshedding Tool

I was rather skeptical about this product, but figured I'd give it a try, taking the advertisers claims with a grain of salt. Anyone that doesn't realise by now that products advertised on TV never work as well... Anyway I tried it on my 2 short haired cats. I barely got anything off my smaller cat, but that wasn't really a surprise as she's not much of a sheder. It worked really well on my other cat he's a big male that leaves hands full of hair on you when ever you just pet him. It pulled up almost another cats worth of hair. It did take me a few tries to get the hang of it. I found it worked best doing short kind of fluffing strokes that lifted the hair right out of the coat. I would then use my other hand to pet along where I brushed and grad the loose hair and a quick swipe to remove the hair from the brush. Worked great for me and was no where near as bothersome as some comments have said. Especially once you get into the rhythm of it. My cats absolutely loved it! Yes it did take awhile, but alternating brushing and petting and it was a very enjoyable bonding time with my pets. :) Oh and I found a good solution to the problem of the cats not sitting still during the grooming. I brush them on my spare computer chair that swivels and I just turn the chair as they move around and keep right on grooming. I'm very glad I gave this product a try.

One of the best brushes I've found for a cat or dog. It gets the mats & the undercoat out with ease. My cat hates getting groomed, he's a main coon so he needs a daily grooming. So with the ShedEnder it's a whole lot easier & faster to get him groomed before he decides that he doesn't want to anymore. I definitely recommend the ShedEnder for anyone with a cat or dog.

The only reason I gave a rating of 4 instead of 5 is that I have nothing to compare it with. It's the first time we've had a dog, and the first time I've had such a tool. I like the tool very much and think it works very well. Every time I use it, I'm amazed at how much hair comes off our dog.

This is a reat bang for your buck. I got this item for my 45lb Pug/Shar Pei, and let me tell you for an item under ten bucks its well worth the money! i spent quite a bit of time grooming him(only cause i've never deshedded him in the 10 yrs i've had him, more my mothers dog than anything) but it did wonders. Didnt hurt him at all, and he wasnt scared of it at all (my dog is a rescued dog that belonged to an abusive family previous to us) and he's scared of al most every silver or sharp looking object. In fact he loved it so much that after deshedding him he stood by me the whole day even when it was time for him to eat (and if anyone has a dog like mine, let me tell you they'll abondon their master for food lol) If your looking for a high quality Deshedding tool to do all the work for you this is not the tool for you, but if you dont mind putting some time in with your loving family member then by this, i Highly recommend it! This item ships super quick and arrived before they said it will, also it came in a convient package, nothing to big.

I decided to try due to cost I should have use the money to go toward a new Furmanator! The Shed Ender remove little to no hair from my Rottlier mix while the Furmanator gets literally gets @ least one grocery bag full each time it is used. The Shed Ender got some loose hair from my single coated lab mix I try all the tips and hints for use. I look forward to getting a new Furmanator and my son can use the Shed Ender as a flea comb for their cat!

This tool is not for a pet that sheds a lot. I have a Basset and they shed too much at times, this tool did nothing to stop the shedding. Although it will obviously remove loose fur, so does any other brush, comb etc. I could not recommend this for a heavy shedder.

I've purchased this product in the past and was satisfied with how well it works combing out the dead hair on your pets. The product arrived sooner than expected and advertised. I does help with the shedding and the pivoting head does help combing from the left to right. I highly recommend this product.

Saw this on TV and purchased online. We have a long haired cat and this is completely worhless. Get better results with a comb with steel pins spaces less than 1/16 apart. The Shed Enders teeth are too close together and too short to work on the fine hair of a long haired cat.
