It contains nutrients that keep bones healthy, it is good for your skin, it gives you energy, it is good for your heart, and it supposedly prevents cancer. It says on the jar, refrigeration not necessary. One tablespoon is 60 calories. Calcium 20%, magnesium 25%, iron 4%, and potassium 450mg. It is gluten free. It tastes great with baked beans. You can add this to a cup of coffee instead of using sugar.
