Definitely consider this mouse!
This is a full review and spec list of this wireless mouse. Brand - Logitech G Model - G305 Connectivity - 2.4 GHz Features - 99 grams, LIGHTSPEED Wireless, 400 IPS, and 12K HERO Gaming Sensor Battery - Rated for 250 hours of continuous playtimefrom 1 AA battery. From my experience so far, which has been roughly 2 weeks, Iโve only lost around 5%, which is great! Most people I have talked to only have to change the battery every 6 months or so, which is also super convenient. I also love the fact that it uses a battery, as in my opinion it is easier to just pop in a new battery and not have to deal with wires. Weight - Very lightweight at only 99 grams, and there are adapters that allow the ability to use AAA batteries for extra weight savings with the caveat of less battery life. Build - Very durable and can definitely handle some beatings. The buttons feel great and are very clicky. The scroll wheel is also accurate and feels nice. The 2 side buttons do feel a little further forward than I would like, but it's nothing I can't get used to. Something to keep in mind is that the black version tends to get very glossy over time, which Iโve noticed with friends. This is not something Iโve experienced with the white version, granted Iโve only had this mouse for 2 weeks. There is also no RGB if that is something you are interested in. This mouse is also optimized for smaller hands, so if you have large hands, I would consider other mice, as this may be uncomfortable. Software - The Logitech software is great and reliable, meaning this mouse should be supported for its entire lifetime as well as having a great level of customizability. Overall - This is an absolutely amazing mouse for the price. Keeps things simple, functional, and clean. Definitely consider this mouse!

Absolutely a 5 star mouse, near flawless in every way.
I'll give you my recent mouse history so that you can get a feel for my preferences. I've always leaned towards the medium to smallish sized ambidextrous mice. Recently I've used the Nixeus Revel which is a budget medium sized ambi mouse with a 3360 or 3366 sensor, I can't recall which. For the money, I think I paid $35 for it, it was a really good mouse. Very light and the sensor was fantastic. The build quality overall just isn't on par with the 305 and of course it's wired. I also used the wired Logitech G Pro for a while right after it was released. This was a really good mouse as well but it was more like $60 on release. Great sensor, perfect size for me. I used the Zowie ZA12 for quite a while, which is the medium sized version of the ZA11, 12 and 13 model. Also an ambi mouse with a 3360 sensor. I also tried the new CM710 mouse here very recently. This was also a really nice mouse and super light obviously. I'm a sucker for new mice. I've always wanted a wireless mouse but for the longest time the technology just wasn't there. This Logitech G305, especially for the $40 price tag for the renewed version is the perfect mouse for me. The sensor is perfect which is no surprise. The sensors for all of the previously mentioned mice were flawless. The G305 has a great battery life and you can always change the battery. This is preferable imo to a fixed internal battery that will eventually die on you for good. The scroll wheel is perfect. Smooth but still gives you consistent scrolling. The size and shape is perfect for me, length as well as height. The buttons are all smooth and tactile with no gritty feeling. No rattle whatsoever. I'm a believer in wireless tech now and even with a quality zowie mouse bungee I'll never be able to go back to a wired mouse now. Not when the renewed verison of this mouse is $40. I bought a black one on release and I just picked up this white version that was "renewed" but completely new and sealed. It just came in plain packaging. This white version is also matte and is not glossy and potentially slick. I really can't recommend this mouse highly enough. For $40 it's an amazing value. If you're looking for a wireless mouse, you can pay more but you won't find a mouse any better. This mouse is every bit as good as the G Pro Wireless from Logitech and it costs less than half. I'm going to buy a 3rd one just to stash away.

Amazing mouse! Best I've used, and battery was included.
WOW, I'm blown away. I was previously using a jellycomb mouse for my everyday work and gaming, and this mouse is insanely responsive. Much less drift, and there's noticably less lag by 1-2ms. The package even included a USB extender and the battery. Get it, it's the best entry level Bluetooth mouse there is on the market at a price that can't be beat! I will add that I am an avid gamer in FPS, as well as horror and other games that require quick reaction time and turning the camera frequently or clicking at extremely precisely timed intervals. This mouse absolutely handles it like a champion. I have friends with +300$ wired gaming mice who refuse to use Bluetooth, and I've used their mice before too. This one literally outdoes them in my opinion, in terms of weight and ease of handling, and about equal on precision. Hero sensors don't kid around.

Looks and works like new! If you have issues, make sure you're using the right battery type.
When it arrived, I was anxious to see if "Renewed" was going to mean "Dead On Arrival" or "Almost NEW". I was surprised to see that it arrived with batteries in it, so when I connected the USB doggle to my computer, I saw where the doggle was recognized but the mouse didn't connect. Since I purchased it to replace an old Logitech MX I use at work, I asked my boss if she had any AA batteries. She gave me two new batteries, and when I replaced the ones in the mouse with the new ones she gave me, it still didn't connect. Needless to say, I sent a very nasty email to the seller about it. The next day, I took some batteries from home to work and placed those inside and the mouse automatically connected and worked like a charm. After a few adjustments in the G-Hub software, the mouse went from "Dead on Arrival" to "Almost NEW". The speed of the mouse is amazing; so amazing that I had to actually slow the speed down to get it to work with my software. I apologized in a subsequent email to the supplier for giving him such grief but I realized that not all batteries will work with the mouse, even though it says "Industrial Strength" and looks exactly like an alkaline battery. I recommend Energizer AA batteries which seems to last longer but you can find that out for yourself since I'm not getting paid for this review - neither by Energizer batteries, nor by Logitech.

Logitech makes great wireless mice. This is no exception.
Logitech absolutely killing it with mice as usual. Lightspeed Wireless makes wired mice irrelevant, and the sensor and switches are top-notch. Battery life is great, especially with lithium AAs. Build is a little cheap and plasticy, but that's to be expected at this price point, especially for how well this mouse performs. Feet glide nicely but wear out a little quickly if you don't use a mouse pad. I'm not the biggest fan of ambidextrous mice, but this one is surprisingly comfortable, especially for its size. Very portable without being a typically small portable-sized mouse. G-Hub software can be kind of frustrating to use, but it works.
