Value of quantity and flavor
If your looking to cut some carbs but not flavor then this is the product for you. Full of flavor. Is a heavy flour which makes it great for heavy cakes such as sesame cakes and sesame cookies.

This works well as a flour substitute when you cannot ...
This works well as a flour substitute when you cannot have wheat, almond, or any other flour that is too strong tasting. For example, garbanzo flour may work as a substitute for wheat flour, except that the flavor is very strongly "vegetable" and it can downgrade the flavor in recipes that call for wheat or almond. I did not detect a strong, or objectionable flavor to sesame flour. I used it exactly as I would wheat flour in a recipe. So 1 cup of wheat flour = 1 cup of sesame flour = 1 cup of almond flour, etc....coconut flour is the exception here. You cannot use it in equal measures. Of course, any substitute for wheat will taste different. But the issue is whether you can tolerate the substitution. I think it works well.

sesame flavour without all the calories!
i use this as a carbohydrate reduced healthy flour substitute. it has a beautifully nutty sesame flavour (kind of like peanut flour has a peanutty flavour) and about the same texture/properties as peanut flour. so not a perfect flour substitute but delicious, nutritious and very useful in baking with some adjustments. just wished it was a little cheaper or i could buy it at a bulk price!

Inedible due to terrible aftertaste
The aftertaste was so bitter that it was in edible. You cannot return this product. I had to toss it in the trash.

Je la combine souvent avec la farine de noix pour adoucir le goût prononcé de la noix et j'utilise ce mélange en remplacement de la farine d'amande pour les intolérants.

I love sesame seeds so I thought I would love the taste of this flour. I used it in 2 recipes (pizza crust and crackers) and they both turned out terrible.... tasteless and/or gummy. So disappointed!
