Hoppe's Elite Aerosol Gun Cleaner Bottle

This product pleasantly surprised me, as I was used to Hoppe's cleaners being a mix of smelly, greasy, and messy tools. I was able to use this inside my house without any smell whatsoever. After visiting the range, I tried it on one of my Glock's interior slides and let it soak into the metal for a bit. This solvent ate into the carbon buildup around the firing pin and extractor pin of the slide and wiped off super easily. Compared to other cleaners I've used, this one definitely cleaned my Glock most thoroughly. The spray bottle makes it super easy to spritz a good amount onto whatever part you want to clean. Highly recommend this to add to your gun cleaning tool kit!

Hoppes is a great gun cleaner. A spray isn't needed all the time, but it's good in some cases.

This is an essential for my range set up. Doesn’t spill, inexpensive, lasts a long time and give my set up the protection needed!

Actually works, removes copper build up, and doesn't smell like anything! Way better than Hoppes No. 9 blend. 10/10

Only used twice- but so far so good....may upgrade the rating after some more use. Having been raised on Hopped #9. and its intrinsic bouquet.....lol....I wanted to see what this product was all about. I WILL say that my initial impression having used it on cleaning a Stainless 629 after a range session was VERY favorable. cleaned very well, yes including carbon- forcing cone areas can be a booger and retain carbon....the 629 looks minty-fresh and, with one more proper cleaning with a toothbrush around said area after a soak and sit with the Elite cleaner, should 100% remove all traces of the nasty stuff. Right now after a cursory clean, everything looks minty-fresh and new with the forcing cone about 98% clean. Yes I was cleaning 5 sidearms in that cleaning session so I didn't take time or special pains for the 629 in queue that day. But YES, I like this product. Very much. No nasty smell (your significant other's interpretation... lol) and I did in fact use with with bare hands and not nitrile gloves. Hands cleaned-up just fine. No trace of the Hoppe's cleaner or any grease, dirt or gunk. Nice. Next will be a bolt carrier to give it a try on....

Works better than the original #9 and has almost no smell. You can't beat that. The only downside is it's not cheap. Two thumbs up.

Big fan of the spray bottle now that I have tried it. Very easy to use and get the cleaner where it needs to be. I am probably using more fluid than before but I think it is worth it. Will probably buy a larger size next time.
