Outstanding product!
This is a truly great innovation for hand percussionists. While the claim that it eliminates "ghost" sounds isn't 100% accurate, it is easily the best way to incorporate additional sounds for a hand percussionist. The ghost sounds are not very pronounced - you'd have to develop your own technique to use it in a studio situation, but when you're live, this thing rocks! Overall, great sound, great idea, well designed and above all it's a fun addition to a percussionists arsenal. Offers tremendous potential for finger-style percussionists and works great when attached to your sticks/mallets/brushes!

Jolly good!
Brilliant. Works well for playing hand-drums, cajon -- also just for rhythmic clapping or augmenting the 'garden sprinkler' dance move with realistic sprinkling sounds (haha). Only thing is that it can really hurt to whack a drum when this is on one finger. Somehow the momentum of the shot as your finger strikes kind of sandwiches your finger against the drum. Wearing the elastic over two fingers rather than one somehow stops this effect, but it's a wee bit tight (you can tell it's designed for a single finger). Altogether worth it.

Muy buenos
Buenísimos me gustan.

Good for Drumming, Okay for Strumming
I bought for strumming with my ukulele and guitar. It works okay...I have to really accentuate my strumming in an unnatural way to get a decent sound. However, this works really well with my cajon drum, without having to adjust my movements at all. Good sound, loud, easy to control. Only issue is that it hits my adjacent fingers because it's so wide and boxy. Starts to hurt after a bit. 4/5 as a cheap drum accessories.

Only works one way
This should be reversible as far as I can tell. If you’re wearing it while playing a hand drum or guitar, the one side that makes sound may not be positioned to be the most natural way for you to make real use of it without having to work at mastering it. It does sounds decent overall when it’s hitting its “sweet spot” which is pretty narrow

I would not play my cajon without them!
I can't imagine playing my cajon live without these things on. I always keep a spare pair in my case. After a gig, someone came and said "You sounded like two people", and that is exactly the effect. Practice a little bit, and the possibilities are endless. And they totally cut through the mix. Just have in mind, these are NOT shakers, they are called shots because they only produce sound on one side when you shake them, so you can create a hi hat effect, in different forms depending on how you play them. They are comfortable, and they last about 20 three hour gigs. (More than a pair of drumsticks). I am on my third pair. They are truly amazing, there is not one gig that I don't get questions or compliments on them.

Shake Shake Shake, Shake your Finger?
Watched a video to learn that these make the shake sound only on the strike, not on the uptake. Makes for clean control. The volume is low so it is a bit subtle, but perfect for a smaller acoustic gigs or just drumming with friends. Nice and tight. Heed these words, ye of large digits. The straps are tight. I thought about trying one on my big toe and it didn't play nice. A middle toe worked though. Yes I washed my feet first.

Perfect addition for cajon kit
Love these little things. They add a whole dimension when playing my cajon. Awesome design, very different from a traditional shaker, so that they only make noise on the bottom side. Elastic is a bit tight for my fat fingers, but hoping it will stretch out a little over time.

FANTASTIC PRODUCT. I LOVE THE CONCEPT OF SOUND PRODUCED WHILE STRIKING DOWNWARDS ONLY. IT CREATES A NICE GROOVE.
