OTC brand (model 2376) ankle stabilizer with heel locking straps. Combines the compression and comfort of a soft ankle brace with the rigid stability of an ankle stirrup. A plastic exoskeleton is formed directly onto the soft breathable fabric, forming a network of strategically placed support zones. The fully adjustable strapping system provides optimum medial-lateral control, and will not stretch during exercise. This is one of the most widely used ankle bracing systems today because of its proven performance, comfort and durability. Review: Great for Sports - Sturdy and tight, exactly what I want in ankle support for sports. I wear size 9.5 but I wanted a tighter fit for sports so I got the slightly smaller sized one. I also have the ASO ankle stabilizer and though I've never turned my ankle playing sports while wearing the ASO, the sturdiness and tighter feel of the OTC gives me greater peace of mind. Though I've not worn the OTC for an extended period of normal, everyday use, the ASO feels a little more comfortable and that's the one I wear if it's going to be on for a long time.
