Does the blade edge rest on the back spacer when closed? a review of this knife on blade hq said this happens.

I'm sure every knife is a little different, but I do not see any portion of my version that makes contact with the back spacer. There appears to be 1-2mm between the edge and the backspacer, which to me is more than enough. I've see tighter tolerances. I compressed the blade by hand while closed to see if it would budge and I didn't see much flexing. I know another reviewer stated that the ricasso seems to rest against the backspacer, but I'm not sure how that's possible - with the blade closed, the backspacer starts near the tip of the closed blade and ends about halfway down the handle. From pivot to about halfway, the knife is an open/pass-through design. This would make any contact between backspacer and the ricasso/choil area impossible since no backspacer exists there. Or perhaps I have my knife anatomy wrong.
