First Impressions

I loved this book! It was a story between a man and a woman who needed to understand each other. It was a relaxing read after reading historical novels. I would recommend this book for anyone up to the age of eighty who still dreams of romantic love!

This is the first book I have read by Nora Roberts. This has 2 different stories in the same book. I really enjoyed the first book - First Impressions. It was a romantic story that I plan to read again. I liked the way the author told the story. The second book - Blithe Images I did not care for. It was boring and moved slow for me. The story was nothing like the first. I was not impressed but I liked the first one so much I wanted to buy the book.

I enjoyed the story. Such a great book. Loved hating the mother. Such a great ending to a story about love and life.

This book was fine for a light summer read but the content lacked substance. Something that I’ve come to expect from this author. I felt that the story line was weaker than other novels that I’ve read by the same author. It’s been several years since I’ve read a Nora Robert’s book, so I was a little disappointed, but maybe my reading choices have evolved.

As always a beautifully written story from Nora Robert’s! I honestly can’t remember if I have read it before as she is one of my favorite authors. She spins her tales so magically and draws you in and leaves you wanting more.

Love love how interesting and realistic these people are written, so descriptive - it's so easy to step into their world and live with them

I have been reading Nora Roberts for years. I have a lot of her books in paperback. I'm my 80s now I find it great to be able to read on kindle. It is easier for me to see! I have always loved her books and highly recommend them. 😆😆

Shane & Vance were fun & the characters made me laugh! Thanks Nora Roberts! You never disappoint me. Love the adventures, you always take me away to a place of joy! I love.when you write about magic & Ireland.

Always love me a good Nora Roberts book

Vance Banning kommt nach Maryland, baut dort ein altes Haus um und möchte alleine sein. Er will nichts von Frauen, die auf sein Geld und seinen Status aus sind wissen, sondern einfach in Ruhe ausspannen und in Ruhe gelassen werden. Er hat nicht mit Shane Abott seiner Nachbarin gerechnet, die ihn für einen arbeitslosen Zimmermann hält und ihn aus Mitleid Aufträge für ihr Haus geben will. Zuerst lehnt er widerwillig und unhöflich ab, doch Shane hält es für verletzten Stolz und gibt nicht auf, ihn zu überreden. Daraus ergeben sich für den Lesern amüsante Situationen, die Nora Roberts gekonnt beschreibt.

Trovo tutti i libri che m'interessano e ho tanti suggerimenti per libri che scopro essere veramente fantastici. Non riesco a farne a meno!

Not one of her best

Really liked the story and the romance. Characters were easy to imagine. Suitable for anyone with a romantic heart. Excellent
