Astonish Mould and Mildew Blaster

So been struggling with some annoying damp in bathroom where we live. Windows open/ karcher the shower etc- but still it comes back after it was painted a couple years ago! Hesitant to try bleach containing sprays as I didn’t want to damage the paint, but water and rubbing the mould made zero difference. Seen a few videos on YouTube of people using this spray and sticking tissue on top of the area ( presume so it doesn’t all just run off if stuck to area) and leaving for 10 mins etc…. and…. It’s amazing! Mould no more removed easily and didn’t damage paintwork! Would 100% recommend over more expensive options, I did test first and ran a short time soaking before doing the 10mins - just in case! But for the sake of maybe 20 mins - it’s all gone! Smell= a little strong but nothing too hideous with a window open. Great stuff, wondering if anywhere else I can try it out now!

Don’t normally do reviews but this product is outstanding. Had quite a bit of dark mould on shower room ceiling and this was a last try before getting it painted. Soaked sheets of kitchen towel and stuck them to the ceiling and left for 30 mins and it honestly looks brand new. Very impressed.

Bought the spray for £3.99 which I thought was ok. Very next day this identical product was £1.25 in Lidl. Couldn’t believe it. The spray itself is excellent and does the job brilliantly

I’m genuinely shocked by how quickly this worked. I did a spot test (top right in the first photo, conspicuously barren), went to microwave a bowl of soup and when I came back 3 minutes later, I could see the ceiling for the first time in 2 years. Genuinely amazed. Spraying it on did make it vanish without needing to wipe for the most part, but there were a few areas where the mould was more stubborn and did require some elbow grease after 10-15 minutes of waiting. It does smell quite strongly, so make sure you’re well ventilated. Also be careful if applying to a ceiling—make sure you wear a mask, glasses and gloves as the spray distance is quite short and you’re likely to get bits on your face and hands unless you’re smarter than me and don’t spray upwards. Although you might not need to wipe it off, I’d recommend doing so anyway as any runoff will leave marks on paint.

Great for cleaning paint off our table after my daughter has made a mess. Leaves a lingering smell for a while. Recommend gloves as same smell stays on hands. Doesn’t really get rid of scale around taps even when left a while to soak in

The product was great; HOWEVER, impossible to open. It placed you in Dante's Circles of Hell, perhaps the the Seventh Circle of Hell. As I finally resorted to a knife and stabbed the bottle to "open"; to the shock of those around (turns out it has its benefits to have the construction crew afraid of "the lady of the house") Perhaps the British, the product came from Britain, have a different idea of childproofing that is unknown by those in the U.S.A. Specifically, the other 7 people, including a construction manager/owner. Again, product great, British packaging sucks.

I used it to remove mold stains on my windows. It worked, but I found that it dissolves the tint film on the windows.

This is an excellent product and it really works as claimed

This product is basically just bleach - and smells just as bad. And the worst part - didn't work at all. I could've used soap & water and scrub brush for same result
