It arrived a few days early, which I'm grateful for as the colors are being used to make ornaments for the family trees. The sparkle is a great enticement to get the younger ones involved in the projects. I also purchased the silver version of this, and I'm very happy with both.This gold cord is a pretty gold: not too dark, not too light -- just the right shade of gold, not too "tinsel"-ly looking, either. It has some"heft' to it -- it's almost exactly 1/16" in diameter, so it makes a statement without being so big that it's difficult to work with.
