Top Quality at a Top Price!
This fuse is used on a Blue Sea Systems 5191 Fuse Block Terminal between my huge battery pack and my 4,000 watt pure sine wave inverter that can draw 300 amps. I love the security and peace of mind knowing my very expensive set up if protected. But whoa, these bad boy fuses are expensive! I have also used Blue Sea's other fuse sizes. I have never had one blow and they are too expensive to test, but when the time comes for them to do their job, I have now doubt they will work at the rated amperage.

Amazingly compact for a 300 amp fuse
Of course, I haven't tested it to see if it blows, but I have proven it will sustain about 200 amps (at 12vDC) of current. Also required is the 5191 Fuse Block Terminal and consideration must be given to vertical clearance since the mount (combo) mounted to the battery sticks up about an inch. It is about 2-1/2" long, over all. I had to make my battery box deeper on a 2013 Airstream anyway to accommodate the taller GC-2 deep cycle batteries (6vDC in series). A huge PRO is its compactness and simplicity. It did take longer than I would have like to receive these fuses, but the seller split the shipment to get me one of the two I ordered quicker. The delivery date was met. So, kudo to the seller and to the fuse.
