perfect upgrade
These speakers are the perfect upgrade to my 2005 MUSTANG...original speakers were a cheap Ford speaker that should have been much better from factory. I also bought chrome ring/cold rolled steel mesh speaker covers that complement the chrome accents on my Stang. with a 600W max capacity, these cannot be BLOWN with the factory amp. The subwoofer is now a real subwoofer, not the mid range piece of crap from factory Ford. I now have perfectly balanced sound from all speakers. Thank you Amazon/SKAR/GTA ELECTRONICS, I AM MORE THAN PLEASED. CLUTCHFIELD SPEAKER WAS A PIECE OF CRAP.

Bang for the buck ✔️
These little guys SLAM. Started with 2 and quickly bought 2 more. Feed them their RMS, build a ported box designed around their factory specs and then prepare to be amazed.

After unboxing and wiring these down to 1ohm and lots of adjusting of the amp and radio settings. I have to say I'm slightly disappointed in the sound. Granted shallow mounts but 4 8" subs in a sealed box with plenty of power. They just lack "punch!" But for the money I won't feel bad making these into shop speakers they should do that job just fine. You do get what you pay for.
