Much better than API
At least Salifert Kits can give you a zero reading unlike API Ammonia kit which reads .25 even when the water has Zero Ammonia. There is really nothing bad to say about this kit, It works as advertised and the readings are what I expected.

Being brand new to the hobby, I found this easy to use and understand. Definitely a winner in my book!

Bad Test??
Not sure if I got a bad test or what, but always reads 0...even when I know there is ammonia in the water or I add ammonia directly to the water before testing. Also, didn't receive the kit described with the two separate reagents and named "NH4 Profi Test"...instead the kit I received only contains one reagent and is named "NH3 Profi Test" (Not sure if it's an old kit or what is up). Heard great things about these kits, but highly disappointed with this kit (especially being 15 bucks for a single test).

Simple and efficient
I bought this because of negative reviews of a competing product. This one is easy to use. The color palette is easy to distinguish, and I think I can match the color of the solution with color on the palette with good accuracy.

Better than API
Works great, much more accurate than API. API was detecting ammonium from the tap water and giving me false results.

Very good test kit
Very good test kit. Pretty accurate for a hobby grade test kit. Usually send water in to get tested by icp and it's close to this kit.
